Today's Quote--"Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away. Now it seems as though they're here to stay. Oh, I believe in Yesterday."--The Beetles, "Yesterday"
My all time favorite song. Just hanging out before going down to our little award party shindig thingymajig. Dressed up like a princess and loving it. I could deal with this all the time...even if I had other duties. *sigh* Someone named their child a little too well...Cassandra...ancient Greek Princess...Takako, literally translated means noble child. Ack. I'm spoiled. And sometimes I think too highly of myself...or just try to fit my name too well. Discussing first impressions, I've often been described as snobby...huh...how did that happen? I guess years of being told I was special, smart, funny, and cute (if not pretty), finally swelled my head too far. *sigh* Yeah, the old adage that one who seems arrogant is really insecure, is true. And I cling...a lot. This study abroad thing may help me move forward in that area...but it's gonna hurt first.

Tonight's the last fling. Ever. The last night all the '05 and '06 classes will be together. I'm gonna miss my life here. And a lot of other things. People, places, etc. Hopefully I can keep track of my changing life on this blog. I don't know how well it'll go, if I'll have enough internet access to do it all summer and in Japan. I can hope. I think tomorrow will be my last SUA update for the year...wow. Thinking in those terms is frightening. Oh, well, the whole thing is scary.

All I can say is that I will miss all of you. My dear friends, siblings, at SUA. My life has changed because of you, and nearly always in a good way. This turtle appreciates all the love and caring that has pulled me out of my shell. Hugs all around! I will come back safe, shiny and new. And we will all meet again, under the sunny southern California sky, come together once more as brothers and sisters.

I Love SUA. I Love my Friends. I love this, my second home, my second family. I will see you all soon...
