Today's Quote--"Were we happy tonight because we were happy or because once, a long time back, we had been happy? Was our happiness tonight like the light of the moon, which does not come from the moon, for the moon is cold and has no light of its own, but is reflected light from far away?"--"Jack Burden", from "All The Kings Men" by Robert Penn Warren
Good question. Another would be, if we were happy once, will we ever truely be happy again, or will it always be a reflection of that first true happiness? Better yet...does the fact that it is merely reflected light diminish the beauty and wonder of the moonlight? And will it ever matter, so long as we are happy?
Hmm...
Well, I do have a lot I need to take care of tonight...so I'll be off now. Just wanted to pose that deep thought to everyone! :) Enjoy twisting your brain around it...but don't work too hard. ;)
