The insanity around here never ends. And if there is one more "EMERGENCY" meeting I think I might...(fill in nastyness here). *sigh* Getting 200 people to agree on the best way to fix something or address it, or even look at it, is near impossible. So is trying with 120 people. But we knew that from last year. I wonder sometimes about some of these freshmen. The first class definately has a certain spirit, a certain vibe, that's very let's get down on our hands and knees, get our hands dirty, and work through all this s***, 'cause if we don't do it, no one will. But the second class...I can't figure them out. They sometimes help out with the s***-pushing, but sometimes they look at us all like we're crazy. Maybe we are. Anyway...There's a definate divide there and I don't think it's good, but I don't have a clue what to do about it. It's getting shallower as the weeks go by. Who will be the third class? What will they look like? I came in here thinking it'd be all roses, but was very quickly disabused of the idea. I guess the Freshmen are just learning it now. This is a hard way to fall face first into a pile of crap. They have my pity...but I was already rooting around down there...the fall barely bruised my nose. Hmmm. Interesting dynamics around here, but rarely can one put them into words. Maybe I'm just overprotective of my territory (which it is...I was here first, damn it.) and need to chill out and share the wealth of fertelizer with the freshmen instead of hording it all in my room. Pew. Right. Well, we'll see how I deal with the children around here.
