Today's quote--"Home is not where you live but where they understand you."--Christian Morgenstern Happy Thanksgiving! Yes, plans change and I was able to make it back home tonight. What a great day...I did feel at home with friends I've known since I was little...and a dog. Home is the little things like the smell of food baking and the joy of helping out...and a warm fuzzy creature wreaking havoc with everything. Now it's time for some shut eye before I begin the joys of research, writing, and presentation making that's going to occupy me until Sunday...I'm going on a hike. *sigh* Signing up for things months in advance can be problematic...but it'll be good for me to go. So...what am I thankful for? A lot. But I'll work on that list tomorrow...I need some sleep first! I'll just say that I'm thankful to be alive here and now where I can change so much karma in my life and really see my efforts bear fruit.
(Only one tear, no hysterics, "I am not weak", "This will not affect our future relations", and it only took me twenty minutes to calm all the way back to stable, and only about a 6 on my "freaked out" scale. And I was worried I wouldn't be able to do my homework...*laughing*)
A journal of my thoughts, daily adventures, and a place to vent my frustrations...free entertainment to anyone who has some time to waste checking out my insanity...
