Today's Quote--"Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to me..."

Okay, so had to get out some of my poetry, just a little...:) Done with class for today, just have music and Ghungroo to look forward to this evening. So, I intend to do a little research for my papers, I'm excited about starting, because once I'm done researching, things will be much easier. It's finally cooled off a little, only got up to 78 or so today, but I'm all dressed up, happy to be in the sunshine. Weekends are exhilarating, there's so much promise in the days to come. Not having class gives me hope to do/finish what I need.

Last night was a blast, hanging out with my friends. Every time I'm able to spend time sitting and talking, even if it's nothing cohearent, with them, I discover how much I love and care about all of them. Hence the quote and poem...Even though I'm separated from my SUA friends sometimes (homework, vacations, scheduals), and from my Spokane friends most of the time (1,000 miles does that occasionally), I appreciate them all very much. Sometimes I think I forget how important having people to care about, and be cared about by people, is...especially when it seems like there's so much to do. I may be homesick while down here, and SUA sick when I'm home, but it's only because of the people that make both places a joy to be in. Sure I miss all that other stuff, weather, places, stores, streets, etc., but the people who make these two places 'home' in my life are the most important. I may feel split sometimes, between the two, but slowly I realize that they don't need any other connection than being part of me.
