Today's Quote--"I'm like a bird, I'll only fly away. I don't know where my soul is. I don't know where my home is."--Nellie Futaro, "I'm like a Bird

Wow, only a week left. It seems like just yesterday I started this whole shindig...now it's nearly over. Happy to be going home, but I just want a little break so I can come back here for longer. Ick...don't want to think about the actual trip...too much lugging of luggage...it hurts just thinking about it. Wahhhhhh! But on a side note, I think my Japanese is definately better! ;) Oy...no kidding sherlock...just how long is it going to last, though? When all you can do is speak Japanese, it's much easier to learn and retain. Ick...anyway, big tests tomorrow...monday...next thursday. Oy. Finals are about 6 times more difficult, or more, but it's still a lot of stuff to do. But hey, unlike finals there are going to be quite a few parties to write home about...or, well, here...hmmm. That saying doesn't really catch much these days, does it? Hermmm.

Well, not a lot to write...snow is very pretty, I think we have about 6 inches now. Soon to be 5 inches of ice...as E pointed out earlier. Hmmm...plows don't seem to be big around here...but the accidents are, ah ha, ha, ha, hammmm. Yeah, not funny. District meeting Monday. Packing this weekend....possibly Kimono wearing times...hmmm, yep, wrapping stuff up. Literally. Oy. Luggage. Hrmmm. Anyone want a scarf? I made a very nice, very long scarf that's up for grabs to the first reply. I don't know what to do with it. Oy...it was going to be a present, but then I couldn't figure out who to give it to, and it appears that no one wants it. It's pretty blue, purple, white, with a little pink...and it's wool, so I can't wear it. Grrr. Anyway...yes. Scarf for sale...for free. Whatever.

Weighed myself yesterday...just for the heck of it...64 kilos...approx 131/2 pounds. Yeah, not okay! Too thin, too thin...oy, don't I wish I could paste that into a future point of my life. *sigh* So I've lost about 15 pounds since I've been here...lots of healthy food (well, okay, obviously not LOTS) and lots of exercise...just everyday stuff too. Hmmm. I was serious about that diet ad earlier. Anyway, just for M&P who get to see me straight off the plane...I look a little thin...around the edges...herm. I intend to eat a lot of fatty foods, sit around, and do nothing strenous during the next 3 weeks in order to build back up my cushy bottom. ;)

Off of unimportant stuff...wait, all I have is unimportant stuff. Oh well. So, finals are coming up for my friends in the "real" world...good luck everyone....if you haven't finished your papers/presentations yet...go do it now! While you still can! Muwhahahahahah. Uh-huh. 'k. On that note, I think I'm going to go entertain myself browsing before I'm off on a souvinear hunting trip. ;) Hugs all around...I know you need 'em!
