Blah. Yeah, I'm doing good...read the new Harry Potter (Whew! what a good book, couldn't hardly put it down!) in 2 days. Mmmmm...good book...I think I'll go back and read some of the other ones, now too. Mmmm. Getting nervous about going away, guess that's cause it's getting closer to being only a month away...and I just realized this is the first time I'll be flying overseas...international...for over 10 hours...by myself. Joy of joys. And Mom's freaked out about a host family...you think they'll give me a name and address before I get to Japan? She does...I don't know. At least I've sent in my passport to get my visa...finally!

As for life stuff...well, my life is pretty dull, kinda just been enjoying my family company for a while. Pappa's going out of town for two weeks! Urgh. That sucks...but it does mean he'll be in town when I'm in Japan. At least that way Mom will have someone with her at all times...she gets kinda well, how to put it, accident prone, when no one is around. And sometimes, it happens anyway...like the recent slip and fall with a vase in the bathtub...yeah, lots of blood on that one. No stiches though! We're always happy to hear she hasn't cut off a finger or toe. Very important.

Anyway, ragging on Mom 'cause I'm being turtleish...still. Oh yeah, and within 2 days I found out about 5 deaths...Oy. Of course one was P-Hat's family...gotta send out that card for him...egads, what a shock that 4 people died all at once like that...of course, being in the same car might have had something to do with it. That one stunned me...then I found out an old friend from SGI had died...not too disturbed by that, now he's not suffering physically anymore. But really, what is up with all these deaths lately...all these famous people have been dying....a whole generation gone in 2003. And even more frightening...since 2000 I have been adding many names to my list of desceased friends and family...Yuko, Darin, Devon, Little Wayne....I mean, it's like the century turned and now everyone is off again...dying...Sure, they'll be reborn and all...but, jeeze...did ya'll have to go at the same time? Oy. Makes it a little hard to be okay with.

Right, well, now that I've done a little rant...just a shout out *rolls eyes* Hello to all my loving kind friends who are reading this...;) I love ya'll and miss ya! Hugs!
