Today's Quote--"Lucille would never understand me because I like too many things and get all confused and hung-up running from one falling star to another till I drop. This is the night, what it does to you. I had nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion."--'Sal Paradise', Jack Kerouac, "On the Road"

Okay, I feel a little better now. Did I ever mention, my life is pretty crazy sometimes? Oh, I did. Huh. Hmm. Well, ol' Sal could be talking about me up there, well, except the part about Lucille. I don't know any Lucilles. Righto...anyway...We've got auditions tonight for the May 3rd International Festival...right, I know, it's a month away. And no one is prepared...so we're all scrambling to get something together to do something for the committe judges. ICK. ACK. UGH. GRRRRRRRR...IIIIIYYYYYYAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHDDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Or in plain english...Iyada. Oh wait. That's Japanese. Damn it. I keep doing that. The other day I was trying to write down a pronuciation of Edinburg, and I started writing Hiragana. For people who speak english! Egads! I did it more than once too! Anyway, iyada, is kinda like, stop it, knock it off, I don't like that, enough already, you're a dork don't do that, all rolled into one nice simple word, which ends up sounding more like yada, the iyada, since everyone slurs that first syllable. Right. No more Japanese lessons. Oy.

Have to go get a blood test for HIV for my study abroad. Grrr. Aside from being next to impossible to do, in the first place, I don't really see why I need it. I don't do drugs, I don't have sex, I haven't even been injured where I needed a blood transfusion (knock on wood)...I don't even know what blood type I have! The only way I could've gotten it is through my mother, and she was done with all those 'risky behaviors' before AIDS even existed! Right...well, as I always end up saying, "better safe than sorry". *sigh* Anyway, it's going to cause problems.

The SAII office pisses me off. I try not to get mad, I know it's only their 1st year and they have a lot to figure out...but why do they have to figure it out all on me?! Oh. Right. That pioneer thing again. Damn. Anyway, they try, but I still despise the entire department, except S. who only works for AO because she needs money. And she has to write out an entire dictionary...for the third time this year. Right, so she's not too keen on the whole place either. And you know what? I just got another email from them. God, I really don't like them. If ever there was a reason to get me angry...just get me started on the SAII office. I could go on for hours. Sure, I'd repeat myself, but that's just part of the fun.

Anyway...what was my point? Hmmm. Can't remember. Okay, I'm going to go chill out by the pool for a bit, enjoy the hot sunny weather, and relax a little...too much to do tonight! :)
