Today's Quote--"Let my heart be strong and guide when eyes grow dim. When ears grow deaf with empty words, when I know there's life within, the spirit never dies, the troubled heart feels pain, but there's never winter trees so bare, it will blossom again."--Loreena McKennitt, "Breaking the Silence"
Like most song lyrics, it may not make a lot of sense, but it does carry a certain feeling. It's about how I feel right now. Let my heart be strong and guide when I cannot see the way, when I cannot hear the truth, when I despair of my future, when my heart is troubled and pained, let me always remember that the power within me will never die, and that there will never be a winter so harsh, that spring will not come. It is difficult, this thing, this pioneering. But I'm here, doing, being, and for now, that is enough. I have yet to give up. And I have yet to fail. Time will tell if that is enough.
